How much does a mold inspection cost?
Our mold inspection & testing is $550 flat, including two lab samples and a full written report.
How long does an inspection take?
Most residential inspections take 1–2 hours on site, depending on the size of the property.
How long until I get my results?
Written reports are typically delivered within 1–2 business days once lab results are back.
Do at-home mold test kits work?
At-home kits are prone to false positives and can't rule out hidden moisture sources the way a professional inspection with moisture mapping and lab-verified sampling can.
Do you test indoor air quality, not just mold?
Yes — our IAQ Assessment covers VOCs, particulates, humidity, and HVAC/ventilation performance.
Do you perform mold remediation?
No. We are assessment-only, which keeps our findings independent of any repair recommendation.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — we hold a Texas TDLR Mold Assessment Consultant license (MAC #MAC2301) and carry professional liability insurance.
Is your lab independent?
Yes — samples are analyzed by an accredited third-party laboratory with no affiliation to Healthy Home Dallas.
